Paul’s attempt to date Ananya Tripathy.

Children, u might not b aware of Paul’s newfound affection. Its for a beautiful Tripathy girl who works in TCS. Her name is Ananya and she possesses a very beautiful face. She sits in the same floor as Paul’s. Paul noticed her once and was trying to bounce on her the moment she moves from her seat. But Ananya seems to be a girl with lot of capacity…she never went for coffee…neither for tea and nor to loo. Finally Paul decided to go to her desk and talk. Paul introduces himself to Miss(who knows whether she Mrs?!!:o) ) Ananya. Now the conversation goes like this…

Paul: Hello
Ananya (a little perplexed): hello
Paul (wondering how to hide his nervousness): welll...hellooeeeaa
Ananya(with a question mark on her face): Ya?
Paul(in his valicha voice): Ananyayudey perenda…uh sorry… whats ur name?
Ananya(in hard voice): ANANYA…how about u?…whats ur name?
Paul(now gaily that she asked him his name): Poooolllllll
Ananya(with her already wide eyes more wide): Poooollll?!1 uhh thatsss a little strange…is it Paul?
Paul (now extremely happy): Yes Yes (he gives his usual giggle)
Ananya (with a smile): So where r u from?
Paul (With a wide smile showing his 32 teeth): Kerala...u know Kerala is God’s Own Country (again gives a giggle which ends with a gobble).
Ananya (with a vague smile): Oh is it? Why is it God’s own country?
Paul (now very serious and holding all his energy to impress her): People out there are so nice you know…really caring and loving. If you go there you will feel as if you have reached heaven.
Ananya: Is it? That’s very impressing
Paul smiles and sighs believing himself that he has impressed her.
Ananya: By the way have you been to heaven to know how it is like?
Paul (perplexed): No. How can I? I am still alive na..I have to get married have kids and grandchildren and then I will go.
Paul looks at Ananya for the next question. But Ananya remains silent and concentrates on her monitor.
Paul (now a little more confident): What about a coffee day?
Ananya (a little loud): WHAT??!!
Paul(now a little nervous): I mean coffee...I mean will u come with me for a coffee someday?
Ananya: I will think about it and let u know.
Paul (confused): Actually u know I am a little worried about all these…
Ananya: WHAT?
Paul: nothing…nothing…I mean…Okay you carry on…I am getting a call on my mobile u know…it was in vibrating mode u know…my mobile is from UK u know…anyways let me take the call…byee
He waves his hand to say bye to her and then his mobile ring KRINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!
That’s it! pol just bumps and turn and walk off fats from the corner while Ananya burst out into a loud laugh.


Footnote: Paul has not given up. He has started to put a beauty spot on his left chin and is taking Sunbath on the terrace of TCS building everyday so that she will not recognize him next time when he goes for another attempt.
